Located on Centre Island, Centreville Amusement Park has over 30 rides to go along with more than a dozen food outlets and a variety of carnival-style games and activities. The park is clearly designed for families with younger kids. The majority of the rides are best enjoyed with a child less than four feet tall; in fact, admission prices are based on the height of visitors.
The young’uns just about have the run of the place, with such classics as the Antique Carousel and a sixteen cage Ferris wheel, or the pleasant train ride through the park and the slightly thrilling Kermitt Froggs Bouncing Bog. Also on-site, the Far Enough Farm is a small petting farm with domestic animals such as donkeys, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, and even emus.
Just outside Centreville, however, are a few independently operated activities, such as a bungee-jump contraption and a rock-climbing wall that teens may enjoy.
