Manitoba
Manitoba offers one of the most diverse landscapes in North America; from prairie grassland and the transitional forests of the time-worn and glacially sculptured Precambrian Shield, to one of the most austere and harsh seacoasts in all of Canada; you can find prickly-pear cactus in the south, Arctic tundra in the north. It's a land of variety, of moods, of contrasts and uniqueness. Bison roam the prairie-aspen southern plains while polar bears range along an Arctic coast that is also home to one of the largest populations of beluga whales in the world. What better way to see it all than in a canoe.
