Acadia University, located in scenic Wolfville, Nova Scotia, was founded in 1838 and is one of Canada’s oldest and most distinguished universities. Acadia has been ranked by Maclean’s magazine as the top primarily undergraduate universities in Canada for the past ten years in a row. Wolfville, Nova Scotia is a 1-hour drive from Halifax, the capital city of the province and is located in an area famous for its natural beauty, temperate climate, delicious seafood, and rich history. It may also interest you to know that Wolfville was chosen by Harrowsmith Country Magazine (2002) as one of the “10 Prettiest Towns in Canada”. The areas surrounding the university include lush farmland, apple orchards, woodlands, and beaches. Wolfville is a small and safe town of approximately 4000 people.
