There is something for everyone

Bowron Lake Provincial Park

Bowron Lake Provincial Park is located about 120 kilometre east of Quesnel on Highway 26 in the Cariboo Mountains.

The park is renowned for having a 112-kilometre rectangular waterway composed of nine lakes, three rivers, streams, small lakes, and many portages.

There is a week-long canoe trip hee, but it is limited to 50 canoeists at a time, and passes must be obtained from the visitor centre. It is a special trip that allows visitors to come quietly upon wildlife such as moose or beaver. In late summer, bears come to feed on the spawning sockeye salmon in the Bowron River.
